It isn't bold and daring to do that, shaming sentences have been engaged in from time immemorial. Also I don't think shaming is effective on teenager's smoking. It has to be something that would ostracize them from their peers.

It might be more effective in shoplifting cases, but I would love to see recidivism statistics first. aksident will not be wearing a placard out front anytime soon, maybe stodgyspike though since he has no sense of shame.
