I would imagine, when the USB Implementers Forum introduced the USB 1.0 specification in November 1995, none of them uttered this phrase:
"It is my hope that in 12 years, someone will invent a USB-powered alarm clock that acts like a blender, and also plays tunes from 1970s game shows."

esp that there is a smal part of my self that wants one.
sigh.
I almost want the cup warmer for the geeky ness of it. Or the fish tank for the cool ness of it.

I have the fish tank at work. I got it for 25 cents at "Wandering Garage sale" at Balticon last year. I liked it, but got a little tired of the clicking noise it randomly made.
