| Ice and cold |

So.... I woke up this morning to cold. We had no power. Everything was coated with ice, and the ice buildup got so bad, our gutters in the front have collapsed, taking bits of the eaves with it.
Power comes back off and on, so I'll keep this entry short. |

Punky, you and the fam going to be okay? This is just sucky... >.<
No worries, it's happened before. That's why we have insurance. :)
OMG, what do you do for heat in such situations? We have a woodburning stove which has been our salvation many times. (We can even put pots of water on top of it to heat for washing - we are so pioneer.)

Hunker down and hope the power company moves fast before the pipes freeze. If they don't you just winterize the house quickly and hope for the best. | |
