So I was recommended this artist based on my musical choices, and so I got a CD of an artist known as "Andrew W.K." for like $4 from Secondspin.com. I tell you one thing, this guy likes to party. Look at some of his track names:
1. It's Time To Party
2. Party Hard
8. Party Til You Puke
This guy has a hard-core, frat boy sound that is intense and yet not as jagged at punk or as serious as heavy metal. I kind of imagine this is some kind of hard core jock rock where shirtless young men, drunk on cheap beer, get into fights in a beach parking lot.
I like this remix with the Beastie Boys a little better, though. |
