I can sort of walk a little now, with the assistance of the walker (before it was a hop-hop on the good foot). The swelling has gone down to the point where I can actually flex my foot forward a little and it will support a sort of walk-step motion, but it's very weak; it can't support my weight without something to hold me upright. I cannot turn the foot at all (like to move in other than a straight line), so I can't walk unassisted, but I think I will give it a shot tomorrow.
While my foot is getting better, the window was left open last night, and now I have a deep chest cold. Since I have had pneumonia 3 times in the last 5 years, I get real paranoid when the lungs start to fill up. I mean, that happens a few times a year where I don't get pneumonia, but each time I have had pneumonia, my lungs get weaker. I doubt it's pneumonia, but... you know... "Boo!"
I'm bored. I have been working at home, but there's only so much I can do.
