The Sakura Steak House in Fairfax has some of the best sushi we have ever had, which is unusual for a chain. Their dragon roll is particularly artistic with two suckers off an octopus tentacle for a pair of eyes. Yummm...
|Desperate Housewives Need You in West Virginia
At the Metro Center rail station in downtown DC, the West Virginian Tourism department is really pushing West Virginia hard.
Then I saw this ad, which says (sorry about the poor quality), "More hidden secrets than Desperate Housewives." Now, granted, I know they are trying to snag onto the popularity of the show "Desperate Housewives," but on its own, this is a creepy statement to make about a destination, particularly West Virginia, which doesn't have a savory past or decent reputation.
In fact, this poster makes you think that sirens are there, luring lonely men to their doom like in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"
