Wake up 6am, get to metro by 7, take Orange Line to Metro center, take Red Line to Silver Spring, walk uphill about a block, go up a few floors via elevator, and go to my desk, and get there from 8-8:30, depending on trains. Reverse in the evening.
Not a while lot of effort, there; I am sitting most of the trip. But for some reason, it just sucks the life out of me. I have no idea why. I am not treated poorly, the AC/Heating works most of the time, people are faaaar less crazy than when I used to ride the bus, and the places I get off at are strategically beneficial to me for getting a seat, so I rarely have to stand unless there's been a breakdown or other massive backup. And most of the time, it's not packed like Tokyo or anything.
