Writing, music, and Cthulhu

I didn't get to write last night because I was too mentally drained. I wanted to, but I saw myself getting another "4 hour sleep" night, and realized it could seriously put my mental and physical health in jeopardy. As it was, I only got about six hours of fitful sleep, but I still feel a lot better today than I did yesterday.

This weekend, I only have one event planned, then I am on call for the next two weeks, so that's better conducive to writing because I have to stay home (unless I get paged for some horrible thing).

I have been burning a lot of my CDs to MP3, and found that I have a few albums I don't recall owning. I mean, they are totally something I would have gotten (some techno/dance and best of New Wave 80s), and when I check my Half.com account, I did actually order them, but forgot to leave positive comments (sorry sellers :(...). It reminds me of the bad joke, "The best part of Alzheimer's is you can hide your own Easter eggs!" I do have Cthulhu Carols, too. I forgot I had ordered that, and I am pleased I will have "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Fish-Men" and "It's the Most Horrible Time of the Year" to sing door to door. Or dance to quality Euro-pop.
