Poll: Beacuse I'm depressed and want attention

Someone used the term "DQ" in their journal today (to describe a person). When I was in theater, "DQ" meant "Drama Queer," or the typical stigma that went with being a male actor (if you were an actor, you were probably gay or bi in my high school). Us DQ's "owned" the term back, and used it as an ironic name for one another. Years ago, I heard someone use DQ at Balticon, but she said it meant "Drama Queen," as in a psychodramatic, self-loving, attention-getting twit. Some may argue that's the same thing, but when I learned DQ it meant more of the pansy-assed sissy-dandy-fag variety who would act in restoration comedies and wear lace. So I ask you, what does "DQ" mean to you, and where did you first hear of it?

What does DQ mean to you?
