Stalking Punkie's Thoughts
My latest brain droppings

  • 00:03 My son, the Starbucks barista, just ranted about teenage freeloaders in his cafe. The irony is so strong, it has a magnetic field. #
  • 07:23 DC Weather: don't like it? Just wait around a little while. #
  • 09:36 Last night, I paid off bills. I still have a mortgage, power through January... man, that was so tough, it was like passing a kidney stone. #
  • 09:38 My Ars Secret Santa got her gift and posted pics! I totally nailed what she liked. Giving the perfect gift is like a heroin hit. #
  • 18:54 Nothing like the eerie calm in a store right after a toddler completely loses it in a temper tantrum and has to be carried out #
  • 20:42 If you're a Goth, where were you when we sacked Rome? #

Does he work at the Silver Spring starbucks by the SS metro stop? That was my first Starbucks, I went on one of our twice yearly trips to visit my Grandfather and Great Aunt who lived there. I'm from the sticks so I thought it was so chic getting a coffee drink with a fancy name and listening to Edith Piaf which was playing on the speakers. I miss being like that sometimes.
