Quote of the day
I was looking for the famous lines Admiral Stockdale gave during the 1992 vice presidential debates ("Who am I? Why am I here?" which he actually meant as a brilliant moment of satire, but got misinterpreted that he was doddering and lost), and ran into some really nice quotes by the guy.

"The test of character is not 'hanging in' when you expect light at the end of the tunnel, but performance of duty, and persistence of example when you know no light is coming."

and in a personal letter to Morse:

"Do the right thing even if it means dying like a dog when no one's there to see you do it."

Sums up my feelings on morality pretty much.
