Stalking Punkie's Thoughts
My latest brain droppings

  • 08:57 If you were a band nerd in school, did you ever pick up your instrument again or play for fun as an adult? I am curious... #
  • 12:09 Gutted holly bushes around heat pump, now all clear for airflow. Five giant 55gal bags filled with leaf litter from just a 4 x 8 area. #
  • 12:15 After 9 years of trying to make the holly bushes look bushier, I gave up, and now want to turn them to look like trees. Good luck, me... #
  • 12:51 I put a tomato plant up-side down in a bukkit. Real redneck mickey-mouse style to test hanging tomato idea. Not so sure about this... #
  • 19:19 Both lawns mowed; gonna rain all week, was sunny today, took initiative before I had a swamp. #
  • 19:20 Garden weeded, new layer of clippings/weed deterrent/fertilizer/bedding put on. Entire lower patio scraped and swept, upper deck swept. #
  • 22:14 @Glark and yet I am so jealous, I gritted my teeth in empathy. #
  • 22:40 @apeyanne You're alive!!! Welcome back!! Call yer mommy... #

Let's see, did I ever pick up my instrument again?

Once or twice, I think.

Or was that question aimed at those of your friends who are not at present professional band nerds?

Grig, For the Holly bushes.....If you want to make them look like a bush again, chop them down to ground level. I'm talking nothing more than a stump. You will not kill them. They will come back. That is the only way to get them back under control and have it look like a bush. We had them on the house on Tyndale. Every 5 or 6 years they would get out of control. WE cut them to the stump at least 4 or 5 times while I lived there. We never could kill them.
